Prepared for battle!

Round five today!…

Doctors appnt went well yesterday. My blood work came back good. Neutrophils are up to par, thanks to the nasty neupogen shots I endured last treatment. Hemoglobins are down 20%, and I am a little anemic. Explains why I am so fatigued. This is all normal. So is my weight gain… Due to the steroids, and water retaining, food craving side effects of the dexamethasone pills. Oh yes, and the numerous deliveries of cinnamon buns, donuts and cookies… Lol.. My doctor gave me the ok to start very light cardio and strength training. Stressing “light”. I am determined to get rid of this bulge before I expose these new boobs in a bikini this summer.

2 more treatments including today. Getting closer to the end of chemo! Yay!
Time to put on my armour, which today will consist of aviators, my stupid dumb breast cancer tee, (sent to me from a fellow amazing bc fighter), and I am happily going to sport my flashiest, highest heels in her honor… follow her blog and you will understand.. 🙂

I am prepared for battle this week. My doctor has prescribed me some heavy duty pain killers to get through the oh so nasty, but very important neupogen shots. I now know what to expect and how much I need to take it slow those days.
Feeling a little bad ass today, and ready to fight !…. From the couch… Lol
